Bantham Ham

Bantham Ham is the spit of land which juts out at the mouth of the river Avon, covered in sand dunes, and offering the estuary a large amount of shelter. It is lined on three sides with fine, golden-sandy beaches, and at low tide especially there is a vast expanse of sand, with views on to Burgh Island, and a safe bathing area.
