Higher Manor Farm
The barns at Higher Manor Farm are nestled in the quiet village of Ringmore in the heart of the South Hams countryside. They enjoy fine views to Ayrmer Cove, a beautiful, secluded beach a short walk down the valley. Each cottage provides comfortable self-catering holiday accommodation for up to four people. Their location allows you to park your car and relax as within 100m good food and real ale can be enjoyed at the popular Journeys End Inn. The village also has an historic church. The Devon coastline which surrounds the area is breathtaking and features steep cliffs which frame a succession of unspoilt beaches. These are accessed by a network of coastal paths which run over land principally owned by the National Trust.
Ringmore provides the perfect base for your holiday whether you choose to explore the beautiful and diverse scenery on the doorstep or venture further to the moors and beyond. As well as a number of tourist attractions, within a short drive is Bigbury Golf Course and the famous Burgh Island. The nearby beaches of Bigbury and Bantham provide excellent surfing and windsurfing. For the sailor Salcombe, Dartmouth and Newton Ferrers all provide facilities to accommodate beginner and expert alike.
Bramble Cottage
Bramble Cottage has recently been converted, with much care taken throughout to retain much of the original character and charm. Accommodation is open plan with exposed beams. The fitted kitchen (electric cooker, microwave, washer drier) affords a view to the coast over the walled barbeque area. The lounge is fully equipped with a colour television and video. There is one double bedroom, also with views to the sea and an additional bedroom with two single beds.
A large proportion of our bookings are those from visitors returning to enjoy again all the accomodation and area have to offer.
